The brief was to update the traditional IT Services of the CEDP into an open team based working environment, that was welcoming and functional for the many internal visitors to the space. Critical to the design was the location of the Server Room, which for continuity to the CEDP operations could not be moved or altered in any way. Enclosed spaces were planned around the Server Room to allow for an efficient open plan area maximising natural light, the result is a functional, light and open environment.
