Quattro was engaged by Greengate Property Group as a collaborative Design consultant for an innovate new 4-5 storey aged care village which combines contemporary apartments with a modern residential aged care home set within landscaped grounds. This development consists of five 4-5 storey buildings, containing 74 self-care units and 63 high care aged care places , as well as community facilities such as activity, meeting and dining areas and communal gardens.

Quattro was responsible for working with the client on developing the scheme design, defining the architecture and preparing final documents for the inclusion in the Development application submission.

This work included: preliminary designs preparation; concept design resolution (including resolving internal layouts, site coordination, elevations, and material selection); amending concepts to respond to provisions made by Randwick City Council and coordinating the masterplan; ensuring compliance with BCA , Australian Standards, SEPP65 requirements, Development Controls applicable to the site and ESS Design Requirements, and achieving Commonwealth Aged Care Certification; and coordination of external consultants (including Access consultants, structural engineers, BCA consultants etc).
