Construction on the Thorndale Foundation, a community centre providing accommodation, community learning, participation and employment for people with intellectual disabilities, is now well underway.
The team at Quattro were engaged as Lead Consultants to design and document the new centre.
The overall project is currently being construction in 2 x parts. Paynter Dixon Construction are building the production and work shop building, whilst Sekisui House are constructing the administration and day programs building.
The new complex will include:

// large palette storage facility
// day programs block: for external user to visit the centre; contains 3 individual Day Program spaces, training kitchen, craft room
// administration block: containing private offices & open-plan workspaces
// communal amenities block, with lounge, kitchen, WCs & lockers
