Quattro Architecture is currently assisting NSW LAHC with the roll-out of several group home sites across the State. This week, we have received approval to progress in the lodging of the DA for the Goulburn sector of group homes. The homes typically consist of five bedrooms with communal kitchens and living rooms. Residents receive varying levels of care depending on their needs.
Group accommodation offers up to 24 hour support for adults of all ages who may have an intellectual or other disability, high support needs, additional health care and/or behavioural support needs. The houses must be barrier free, or have the capacity to be adapted to be barrier free and they must be flexible to allow for changing residents or the existing residents’ changing needs over time. All information produced must also comply with the stringent design guidelines and specific room requirements. Quattro is pleased to be participating in this project, along with various other group housing projects across NSW.
