KU-RING-GAI FIRE STATION OPENING CEREMONY

May 30, 2014

On May 25, 2013, the Ku-ring-gai State Emergency Service (SES) and Bush Fire Brigade (BFB) opened their new co-located headquarters, proudly designed by Quattro Architecture.

The ceremony attracted several special guests, including Ku-ring-gai Council’s Mayor Elaine Malicki and then Premier of NSW, Mr. Barry O’Farrell.

The headquarters feature new offices, administration and garage spaces for both organisations, enabling them to work seamlessly together and improve responses to bushfires, storms and other local emergencies. Quattro worked closely with both the SES and BFB to ensure that all emergency service requirements were met.
