Quattro Architecture was appointed for alterations and additions to the Riverwood Legion Club in response to new smoking legislation.

The aim of the project was to create a new and more prominent entry to welcome visitors from Thurlow Street, and to refurbish the existing auditorium as a new gaming lounge with smokers terrace.

The challenges included working with a maze of existing structural columns and service ducts within the new lobby area, in order to create a functional space.

The existing double height auditorium was transformed into an intimate gaming lounge with creative ceiling and light treatments, while a new street level smokers terrace was created, being sure to include maximum security and minimum street visibility.
