As part of a broader Masterplan, Quattro Architecture is engaged to restore the former Baby Health Care Centre, a Heritage listed building on the site of Merrylands RSL Club.

The refurbishment will be carried out in a manner sensitive to the requirements of the Heritage controls, whilst retaining the historical importance of the building.

The works are to include a full restoration, forming a multi-purpose space. There is to be links to a war memorial space, with an interactive ANZAC display with information and memorabilia.

Innovative, interactive technology is to be incorporated into the space, with video links to Canberra on special occasions, and an interactive memorial display.

The site is also to incorporate a small functions space, as well as providing an information hub for what's happening throughout the Club. Portable bar and adaptable spaces are an important aspect of the design, allowing the space to be used throughout the year for varying purposes.
